Terms of Use

By using VU Lab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must follow applicable laws and the rules of any third-party service whose content or services you independently choose to use.

You must be at least 16 years old to create or use a VU Lab account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use VU Lab only where permitted by applicable law and with any consent from a parent or legal guardian required by that law.

This is an account eligibility rule. It does not classify creator projects or change tool access based on the type of content a user intends to create.

VU Lab is an independent third-party creator service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by or part of IMVU. IMVU operates its own platform, and VU Lab does not act on its behalf.

VU Lab does not submit products to IMVU for creators or perform IMVU’s platform review, classification, approval or publication functions. Using VU Lab does not replace or modify your obligations under the terms and policies of a third-party service you independently choose to use.

You must provide accurate registration information, use a password you are authorized to use and keep your credentials confidential. Registration requires your explicit confirmation that you are at least 16, agreement to the current Terms of Use and acknowledgement of the current Privacy Policy. VU Lab records the account, acceptance time and policy version identifiers so a materially revised policy can require renewed acceptance later.

Every new account must be activated through a verification link sent to its email address. Verification links expire after 24 hours and are single-use. Until activation, no normal creator session or creator-tool access is available. You are responsible for activity under your account and should sign out on shared devices.

VU Lab may suspend or disable an account to protect the service, enforce these terms, address security concerns or respond to legal or rights complaints. Email verification does not reactivate a suspended or disabled account and does not grant PRO, owner or admin access.

FREE means included with a free registered and email-verified VU Lab account; it does not mean anonymous creator-tool access. Every creator tool requires a verified signed-in account. Some tools, including Product Extractor, additionally require a server-verified PRO entitlement.

Owner Permanent Pro and any admin role are internal service-administration grants. They are not purchasable plans, payment records or promises that public users will receive the same administrative access.

Live paid subscriptions and Paystack checkout are not currently available. Any future purchase and any future production Creator Promotion submission, booking or purchase must be associated with a verified signed-in VU Lab account. Pricing displays and entitlement fields do not by themselves create a purchase, renewal or paid access right.

VU Lab provides creative software for preparing, editing, resizing, processing, organizing, previewing, generating and exporting digital creator assets. It is a tool provider, not a publishing platform: VU Lab does not publish or submit a creator’s products to a third-party platform.

VU Lab does not determine how material created with its tools will ultimately be used, submitted, classified, reviewed, approved or published by a third-party platform. You are responsible for your content, your use of exported material and compliance with the applicable requirements of any platform or service on which you choose to use or publish it. VU Lab does not guarantee that a third party will accept an output.

Shop Studio and Range Builder drafts are saved only in localStorage on the browser you use. The Shop Studio → HTML Lab handoff uses short-lived sessionStorage. Other tool state may exist only in memory. These features are not cloud backup, synchronization or archival services. Clearing browser data, changing devices, resetting a project or browser failure may permanently remove that work.

You retain whatever rights you already hold in text, images, audio, product details, links and other material you supply. You grant VU Lab only the limited permission needed to process that material at your direction through the selected tool.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to use, modify, export, publish or promote supplied material. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious or privacy-invasive content.

VU Lab can request publicly available IMVU creator, product, lineage, image and productdata information. Public availability or technical retrievability does not transfer ownership, grant a licence, prove that a product is derivable, or authorize reuse outside applicable platform rules and law.

Product Extractor is a PRO tool that uses approved public sources in hosted production. You must not use it to seek private credentials, private files, hidden account data or unauthorized access. Results can be incomplete, stale or unavailable and should be independently checked before use.

You must not:

• break laws, infringe intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights, or misrepresent your authority;
• request or submit IMVU passwords, session cookies, private access tokens or other credentials;
• bypass or attempt to bypass sign-in, PRO entitlements, rate limits, human verification, capacity controls or other access restrictions;
• use bots, scripts or automated traffic in a way that overloads, scrapes, probes or abuses VU Lab or its upstream services;
• test vulnerabilities without written authorization, interfere with other users, introduce malware or use external-request features to reach private/internal network resources;
• falsify payment, entitlement, creator ownership, product ownership or campaign information; or
• use exports or public-data results as evidence of rights that you do not actually hold.

Generated HTML, images, GIFs, audio segments, ZIP files and copied details are provided for you to download or copy. You are responsible for saving them, checking compatibility, scanning files where appropriate and ensuring they meet the requirements of the destination platform. VU Lab does not promise to retain or recreate an export after your browser session ends.

Radio Studio uses external station-directory and stream services. Playback connects your browser to the selected station. Provider links, IMVU pages, station hosts and other external sites are operated by third parties, may change without notice and are governed by their own terms. VU Lab does not control or endorse their content, availability or business practices.

Production promotion purchasing is not live. Browser-local staging and development-only campaign validation do not create a paid booking, guaranteed placement or obligation to publish a campaign. See the Creator Promotion Terms for the current status.

VU Lab may add, modify, limit, pause or remove features, integrations, limits and access classifications. Public APIs, radio streams and other upstream resources can fail or change independently. VU Lab does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent compatibility or that every public lookup will return a result.

You may stop using VU Lab and sign out at any time. VU Lab may restrict, suspend or disable access for misuse, risk, legal requirements, rights complaints, service protection or material breach of these terms. No self-service account deletion workflow is currently implemented; the public contact channel must be configured before launch so deletion requests can be received.

VU Lab is provided on an “as available” basis as a software creator-tool service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VU Lab does not promise that outputs are accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, accepted by IMVU or another platform, free from interruption, or immune from data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VU Lab will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of browser-local projects, third-party platform action, or failures of external services arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to applicable law.

No governing-law or jurisdiction clause is included because the repository does not verify the operating entity, business location or approved jurisdiction.

VU Lab may update these terms as the implemented service changes. Material changes should be posted on this page with a revised update date. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply to later use, subject to any non-waivable rights.
